Vintage Nantucket Lightship Basket Purse by Stanley Roop signed and dated 1968. Large oval form with carved Sperm Whale ornament atop Mahogany plaque. Beautiful rich dark patina. Very good condition with a few small breaks to cane weavers (on inside) and clasp. Measures 9-1/2" wide by 7-3/4" high.
