Antique Scrimshaw Panbone Basket

Antique scrimshaw panbone basket with swing handle circa 1875. Extraordinary well crafted with a reticulated pattern of circles and dots throughout basket and handle. Basket is in excellent condition and retains a near perfect oval form. Measures 9" by 5-1/2" oval by 3-1/4" high. Swing handle adds another 4" of height.
