A wonderful antique scrimshaw tortoise shell frame in the form of a BUTTERFLY with two oval windows to display photographs. Sailor / whaler hand crafted with silver and copper pins circa 1860. The inserted photographs are from our Nantucket collection. Great condition, measures 10" x 10".
