Rare diamond form Nantucket basket Friendship purse by José Formoso Reyes (1902-1980) signed and dated 1963. Features a carved sperm whale, knobs, peg, and feet. This was made without a mold (freehand) and are the most sought after by collectors. Signature formed and carved handle. Measures 11" wide by 6-1/2" high by 8" deep.
