One of the great Jose Formoso Reyes Nantucket Lightship basket

Truly - one of the very great Nantucket Lightship baskets!! A very rare made to order "diamond" shaped basket made and fully signed and dated
1966 by José Formoso Reyes (1902-1980). This great basket is in fabulous condition - no breaks and no repairs. It has the choice all-ivory catch and three beautifully carved ivory seagulls in flight mounted on an ebony top. What an opportunity!
