Rare vintage Nantucket whale mobile by John Chamberlain

Rare vintage WHALE MOBILE by Nantucket artist John Chamberlain circa 1950's. Eight varieties of the whale species float about and are chased by a fully manned whaleboat. Each whale is fully hand carved and painted. The whaleboat has 6 whalers at the oars, rudder and harpoon. Very good condition with minor losses and touch-ups. Size: 26 inches diameter with the whales 4 to 6 inches and the whaleboat 3.6 inches long.
