Rare 1948 Pictorial Map of Cape Cod by Claretta Pope Higgins

Rare pictorial map of Cape Cod by Claretta Pope Higgins dated 1948. Whimsical border cartouches with traditional New England recipes. Also titled "Rules From Old Cape Homes For The Accomplist Cook". Part of what makes these so rare is the instructions (under framing) encouraging the owner of the map to cut out the recipes and use the map for wall covering. This one is fully intact and in great condition. Measures 28-1/2' by 28-1/2" framed.
