Rare and choice pair antique American scrimshaw sperm whale's teeth by the famous BANKNOTE ENGRAVER circa 1840's. Excellent condition and nicely mounted on dark tropical wood oval stand. They are deeply engraved with four classic lovely ladies and surrounded with extremely intricate borders. This great pair rank at the top of antique scrimshaw collectibles. Size: 6.25 inches tall on a one inch stand.
