A very fine antique American scrimshaw sperm whale's tooth engraved with a hermaphrodite Brig on a stylized sea that wraps around to a three.masted ship with American flag. Above is a classica American Eagle patriotic emblem and the reverse a pole and cap, cannon, and leaf design. Excellent condition with good patina. Size: 5.70 inches long. SORRY, SOLD.
