Rare "Peace" Eagle by John Haley Bellamy

Extremely rare "Peace" Eagle by John Haley Bellamy circa 1870. One of only five known to exist, and only one with gilding. Hand carved by Bellamy as part of his transitional period between 1868 and 1872. Features a unique feather pattern. Includes letter of authenticity by noted Bellamy expert and author James Craig.

Excellent condition. Measures 42-1/2” by 6-1/8” by 6-1/2".
