Rare and interesting whaling print of the whaleship "Lowell"

Antique American print of the whaleship Lowell of New London with Roswell A. Button and his wife of Mesopotamia, Ohio. Captain Button was born in 1822 at Preston, Connecticut, and made four whaling voyages in his youth (1833-51), he rose through the ranks from green hand in the ship Lowell of New London. He later settled in Mesopotamia in 1853 and married a local woman (pictured).
The print is from an Ohio County book. Very good condition with some minor mended tears and scattered abrasions. Size: 18 x 15 inches overall.
