Pair of Antique Scrimshaw Inlaid Mirrored Sconces

Nice pair of antique mirrored wall sconces inlaid with whalebone, American circa 1840. Made of Pine and features a carved fan design. A hole runs from back to the front candle socket suggesting someone may have added electric candles to these at one point. Great condition with a small chip in candle socket. Measures 9-3/4" high by 4" wide by 5-1/2" deep.
