Antique Ship's Marine Barometer. Mercury stick barometer mounted on original brass gimbal. Made by H. Negretti, 19 Leather Lane London circa 1845. Note: Negretti formed a partnership with Joseph Zambra in 1850 to form the famous Negretti & Zambra firm; makers of fine instruments. Beveled glass and mahogany construction. Features dual latitude scales and original mercury thermometer. Great overall and working condition. Measures 38" tall. As this item contains antique mercury, local pickup is preferred. Otherwise we will ship with mercury removed.
